I will soon be getting a new PC. If so, where can I find how-to instructions? I do have backup copies of my company file so that's not a problem. Just wondering about the program itself.

If you don't have them, press F2 while in your books. This will display a Product Information window which can be used to obtain the necessary information.
Uninstall QBDT from the device it's currently installed on before attempting to reinstall it on the new computer. On the new PC where you want it moved to, download the installation files by inserting your CD.
Install the program. After installation is completed, go to Help in the menu bar at the top, then select Register QuickBooks. Enter the requested information to register your product on the new computer. Once you've finished the transfer process, your company file s can be copied to their new location. If you are running Win 10 on your new machine, install and run your QB on Compatibility mode Win 7. One problem, QB is no longer available for download and I don't have the file to re-install it on my new computer.
